Hello, my name is Tatiana Braginets - I'm the founder of Right Math Tutoring and I'm passionate about helping students build a strong understanding of mathematics. For me, the most rewarding part of teaching is watching students grow in confidence and begin to enjoy mathematics! This is my goal for all of my students.I grew up in Russia, where I attended a high school with a focus on math and physics. My passion for mathematics has blossomed since then! Later, I earned my bachelor's degree in Computer Science here in the United States. Over the past ten years, I’ve had the opportunity to work with students in a variety of settings: teaching after-school math classes for grades K–8 at the Russian School of Mathematics, offering one-on-one tutoring, and preparing students for competition-level problem-solving at Sequoia Montessori School in Palo Alto.I believe that every student can succeed in math with the right support from the right teacher—and I’m here to help them get there.

How I Teach

I create each lesson to fit the individual needs, goals, and learning styles of my students—whether they’re building foundational skills, advancing beyond grade level, or preparing for math competitions. I believe that every student can understand math when the material is presented in a way that makes sense to them.Instead of simply repeating similar problems over and over, I use questions that encourage students to think and stretch their skills. This approach helps students grow not only in accuracy but also in mathematical reasoning and problem-solving.
